"I run a web-based psi-training platform used for cognitive and neural research. Seven mini-games are already live, but the look, feel, and supporting systems now lag behind our needs. Over the next 8–12 weeks I want to turn the site into an API-first product that can later power a mobile app.

The single biggest focus is a professional, sleek UI/UX reskin. Every screen must be rebuilt in React/[login to view URL] with modern components, clean typography, responsive layouts, and full accessibility. While the interface is refreshed, five of the seven mini-games need upgrades—sharper graphics, richer animations, and a set of new levels to keep users engaged.

Behind the screens, I’ll need the backend refactored in either Node or Python, broken out into secure, well-documented REST/GraphQL endpoints. Account creation, authentication, encryption, and anonymised logging have to follow current best practice.

Because researchers actively study our data, the build must also include:
• Dynamic leaderboards with tiered rankings and a new performance-scoring engine
• Opt-in data capture that stores only anonymised, research-grade information
• A researcher portal for filtering scores and sending study invitations
• An admin console for managing content, users, games, and messaging

Community is next on the roadmap. Users who opt in should be able to connect, practise together, and exchange internal messages—all in a way that’s secure and easy to moderate.

Every service you write needs clear OpenAPI docs so a future mobile team can plug in without touching core code.
