"I’m looking for a lean, custom-coded e-commerce site built from the ground up instead of using Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento. The goal is a clean, functional storefront that can grow later, so keep the first release clear and lightweight.

Core requirements
• User accounts with secure login and profile management
• Product catalogue that allows shoppers to leave reviews
• Standard cart and checkout flow with a simple payment option (COD or a widely supported gateway)
• Mobile-responsive pages and an admin area where I can add or edit products myself

Scope for this initial phase
Provide a basic blueprint and working site that loads quickly, follows best practices for security, and is ready to accept real orders. A minimalist design theme is fine as long as it looks professional on desktop and mobile.

Tech expectations
Use clean, documented code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a lightweight back-end stack of your choice). No heavy frameworks unless absolutely necessary; I’d like to keep hosting costs down.
