"I need a clean, modern-looking single web page that fits within an A4 layout and will serve as an online obituary. For this first phase the page must present a short memorial text alongside one featured photo. I already own the domain and need hosting as soon as the files are ready.

Here’s what matters most to me right now:
• The design should feel contemporary—think balanced white space, legible typography, subtle colour accents rather than anything overly ornate.
• The text-plus-photo section is the focal point, so sizing and alignment need to look good on both desktop and mobile.
• The finished page should print neatly to A4 for family keepsakes.
• Please package the deliverable as standard HTML, CSS (and a touch of JS only if truly needed) so I can drop it straight onto my server.

Looking ahead, I plan to expand the site with two additional pages and a small tribute video, but that will be a separate job once this first page is live. If this initial collaboration goes smoothly, you’ll have first refusal on the follow-up work." (client-provided description)
