"I’m running a WordPress news site built with the popular Newspaper framework and want to introduce a polished dark appearance in black-and-gray tones. The goal is a seamless look that touches every visible area—headers and footers, the full content body, plus all sidebars and widget zones—while leaving my existing typography exactly as it is.

What I need from you:
• Build a child theme or provide a clean override stylesheet that replaces the current palette with the requested dark colors.
• Apply the new colors across navigation bars, article layouts, comment sections, ads, Gutenberg blocks, and any custom widgets so the switch feels native, not “pasted on.”
• Preserve my current fonts; only adjust color contrast or weight where needed for readability.
• Confirm that links, buttons, hover states, and form fields remain AA-level accessible against the darker background.
