"I’m building an online data-analysis workspace that behaves much like Excel but is tailored to financial datasets. At its core, the platform must let users enter, import and manipulate rows of numbers with the same ease they expect from a spreadsheet, while adding modern, drag-and-drop convenience.

Key functionality I need replicated from Excel includes:
• Formulas and functions that recalculate instantly as data changes
• Charting and graphing tools to visualise trends on the fly
• Pivot tables for quick, ad-hoc summaries of large financial tables

Drag-and-drop behaviour is equally important. Users should be able to reorder columns or rows by simply dragging them, move and resize their charts around the canvas, and drop files (CSV or XLSX) straight into the browser to populate new sheets.

The interface has to feel familiar to finance professionals, so latency must be minimal and keyboard shortcuts should mirror Excel wherever feasible. I’m open to your recommended tech stack—whether React, Vue, WebAssembly, or something else—as long as it delivers smooth client-side calculations and can scale for thousands of rows without lag.

Please outline in your proposal:
1. The front-end framework and grid/visualisation libraries you’d rely on
2. How you’ll engineer the formula engine and pivot logic
3. A timeline with milestones for core grid, formulas, charts and drag-and-drop completion
