I need a new website to showcase my work as an author, speaker, and historian. The goal is a professional, clean site that makes it easy for people to find my books and hire me for speaking events.

You'll handle the design and build. I'll provide the domain/hosting and all the content (text and pictures).

Here’s what needs to be built:

Homepage: A strong introduction.

Bio/About Page: My background and credentials.

Books Page: Showcase my publications with purchase links.

Speaking Page: Details on my lecture topics and a contact form for inquiries.

News/Blog Section: A place for my updates and articles.

Contact Page: Easy way to get in touch.

The site must look great and work perfectly on all devices (desktop, tablet, phone).

The Plan:

We'll chat about the vision.

You'll design a homepage mockup for approval.

You'll build the site on a temporary (staging) server.

I'll give you all the content (text and images) for you to add.

I'll review the site and request changes (2 rounds of revisions included).

Once approved, you will help upload the final site to my live hosting.

Post-Launch Support (Key Requirement):
I need a 24-month (2-year) warranty and maintenance period. This means you will:

Fix any bugs from the original build.

Perform basic updates (WordPress, plugins, etc.) to keep the site secure and running smoothly.
