"My Vibecoded game runs on Replit and is supposed to keep each player’s progress in a database, yet every time the page refreshes the app crashes and the game state is lost.

I need a fresh set of eyes to trace the exact failure point, and make sure state is reliably saved and restored after any page refresh.

Once the fix is in place the app should load without errors, reconnect to the existing record, and let the game continue seamlessly.

Deliverables
• Debugged and running Replit project with no crash on refresh
• Reliable save / restore of game state via the existing database connection
• Brief summary of what caused the fault and the changes made

the app is a race game. User loads names of players into app, then game race starts. The game works but if a second user tries to view the same page that the race is happening on, the use gets a different race or if page is refreshed, game crashes.
