"I’m rolling out an in-house application for our 3PL logistics warehouse and the first milestone is a solid billing module. Your task is to design and develop everything needed to let our finance team:

• Create and send branded PDF invoices on demand or in bulk
• Track payments in real time, including partial and late payments
• Display a searchable, filterable customer billing history with export options

The module must connect smoothly to our existing inventory and order-processing stack through REST/JSON APIs and store data in a well-structured SQL database. A responsive web interface is essential so staff can work from desktops, tablets, or handheld scanners on the floor.

Deliverables
• Functional prototype with clean UI and basic UX polish
• Database schema and migration scripts
• REST endpoints (invoice, payment, history) with sample calls
• Unit tests and concise technical documentation
