"I have an evidence-management application for body-worn and in-car camera footage that was originally written in Delphi 6. I now need the entire codebase migrated to the latest stable release of Delphi, along with a couple of strategic enhancements.

The core of the job is a clean, fully-functional compile in the modern IDE, including refactoring any outdated VCL components, third-party libraries or Windows API calls that no longer exist. Once the application runs flawlessly, I’d like two improvements folded in:

• A smoother, easier-to-navigate interface. I’m not chasing a flashy redesign or mobile responsiveness—just logical layouts, clearer menus and faster access to common tasks.
• Extra reporting options so users can generate more detailed evidence summaries straight from the system.

Deliverables
1. Updated Delphi project and source code that builds without warnings in the current stable release.
2. Reworked UI screens demonstrating the improved navigation flow.
3. New or extended reporting modules, fully wired into the existing database layer.
4. A short technical hand-over note explaining required libraries, migration steps you followed, and how to extend the new reports.
