Project Overview
I’m seeking an experienced ghostwriter/editor to complete and professionally polish my nonfiction book in the Business/Finance/Stock Market genre. Working title: “Trading with EDGE – A Practical Playbook for Discipline, Risk, and Repeatable Profits.”
The manuscript is ~75% complete and structured around a framework I conceptualized and designed (Edge, Discipline, Guard, Evolve)—with a setup library, risk model, routines, and a student workbook section.
What I Need
A senior-caliber ghostwriter who can:
• Tighten structure & narrative flow: Ensure clear progression, remove repetition, and strengthen through-lines (FRAMEWORK across all chapters). Manuscript/Work has a main book and student workbook; it will be converted into 2 books for better monetization.
• Developmental enhancement: Sharpen big ideas, add bridges between chapters, upgrade examples/case studies, and close each chapter with crisp takeaways/actions.
• Technical accuracy & depth: Validate/triple-check finance/trading concepts (risk, position sizing, expectancy, routines, psychology) and ensure consistency with the existing framework and setup library.
• Voice & tone: Practical, no-nonsense, data-driven, institutional-grade, yet accessible. Motivational without hype.
• Workbook integration: Harmonize “Key Takeaways / Reflection / Actions” and ensure the Student Workbook aligns with chapters and is print-ready.
• Line-art/diagram briefs: Create/refine clear briefs for figures (e.g., EDGE pyramid, backtesting flow, setup diagrams) for designer execution.
• Back matter: Refine reading list/tools, glossary (if proposed), acknowledgments, and “About the Author.”
• Final polish: Copyedit, proofread, and format for print and eBook (KDP/Ingram specs). Optional: audiobook script pass (pacing, lists, callouts).
Deliverables
• Completed manuscript (target 45k–65k words; quality over length).
• Editorial map (1–2 pages): chapter objectives, fixes applied, gaps filled.
• Figure/illustration brief pack (bullet specs for each diagram/line art).
• Style sheet (terminology, capitalization, numbers, acronyms).
• Clean copy in Google Docs/Word + print-ready PDF and ePub (if you handle formatting).
• Marketing assets (short): back-cover copy (150–200 words), 1-paragraph book description, and 10 promo quotes/snippets.
Plagiarism & Originality (Non-Negotiable)
• Original Work Only: All writing, edits, examples, checklists, and figure briefs are 100% original, created exclusively for this project, and not previously published (including prior client or self-published work). No plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
• Source Use & Quotation: Any quoted material must be clearly quoted and cited. Keep quotes minimal/necessary; obtain permissions before delivery if required.
• Similarity Check Required: Provide Turnitin or iThenticate with each major milestone and the final draft. Target ≤10% overall similarity (excluding references, stock phrases, and properly quoted/cited text); no single outside source >1% in body text (excluding properly quoted segments).
• Use of AI Tools: If you use AI, disclose it; ensure output is fully original, fact-checked, and rewritten in your own words; prevent any copyright/data-policy issues.
• Remedies: If plagiarism/unauthorized use is found:
1. Cure within 5 business days at no cost, delivering a clean replacement + new similarity report;
2. If not cured, full refund for the affected portion and assignment of all work product to me;
3. Indemnify and hold harmless for any claims/losses/fees arising from breach.
• Representation & Warranty: You warrant the work does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or contractual rights. Breach is grounds for immediate termination with cause.
Ideal Profile

• Strong developmental + line editing capabilities.

Process & Milestones (payments fixed; cordial, collaborative)
M1 – Diagnostic & Plan (10%)
Deliverables: Editorial Map (1–2 pages), chapter-by-chapter plan, concise risk/items list after full read.
Payment: 10% (held in escrow; released once the Editorial Map and plan are approved).
M2 – Developmental Pass (15%)
Deliverables: Developmental edits (tracked changes + comments), added bridge sections, two fully revised sample chapters, updated TOC.
Payment: 15% (released upon delivery and approval of the Developmental Pass package).
M3 – Line Edit & Figure Briefs (15%)
Deliverables: Full line edit (clarity/flow/tone), figure/diagram brief pack, updated style sheet.
Payment: 15% (released upon approval of the line-edited manuscript and figure briefs).
M4 – Final Delivery (50%)
Deliverables: Copyedit & proof; print-ready PDF (KDP/Ingram); ePub (if in scope); clean Word/Docs source; updated style sheet; back-cover copy + one-paragraph description + 10 promo snippets; and Turnitin/iThenticate ≤10% (no single outside source >1% excluding properly quoted text). Includes one consolidated round of minor fixes (“punch list”).
Payment: 50% (released upon acceptance of the final deliverables).
M5 – Warranty / Holdback (10% after 30 days)
Deliverables: A 30-day warranty window for small fixes (typos, layout nits, citation tweaks, broken cross-references), up to a reasonable cap (e.g., 10 hours).
Payment: 10% released 30 days after final acceptance, once any warranty items are addressed.
Notes
• All milestones are work-for-hire, governed by the Plagiarism & Originality clause.
• Each handoff includes a brief Change Log and updated Style Sheet.
• Payments are milestone-based via escrow; approval confirms the milestone meets agreed criteria.
• Substantive scope changes (e.g., new chapters, major research) can be quoted/scheduled separately.
