Overview

We are seeking an experienced Joomla developer/agency to migrate an existing Joomla 3 instance powering multiple national real estate websites to Joomla 4, and eventually Joomla 5.
These sites rely heavily on custom modules, components, and templates. We need someone who can execute a smooth migration with minimal downtime, preserve all custom functionality, and ensure system stability.

Scope of Work

We will provide you with an export of applicable files and a database dump and would like you to set up your own dev/test environment.

Current environment is Ubuntu/Apache running PHP 7.4 and MySql 8

- Audit our existing Joomla 3 environment
- Identify incompatibilities (core + extensions + modules + templates)
- Upgrade Joomla 3 → Joomla 4 (intermediate)
- Update/convert custom modules + templates to ensure compatibility
- Fully QA/test sites post-migration
- Prepare roadmap to Joomla 5
- Recommend security + performance improvements
- Document changes for handoff

- Ability to maintain site functionality + styling
- QA testing + bug resolution
- Clear communication and documentation

- Templates updated + responsive
- Site(s) tested and validated (Ideally updating to PHP 8 simultaneously)
