"We are ready to automate the way we generate concrete formwork in Tekla Structures for our clients and I need a developer who already lives inside the Tekla Open API. The goal is to replace repetitive manual modeling with a clean, engineer-oriented GUI that lets my team type a few numbers, click “Create,” and watch a fully detailed form appear in the model—no fancy 3-D preview, just fast, reliable, user-friendly data entry.

Project roadmap
Step 1 – Proof of concept
• Build a plug-in that parametrically generates the side steel walls of a concrete form.
• The GUI must expose at least: Form Length, Form Width, Form Height, Joint Type, Joint Spacing, Joint Reinforcement Details, and Form Support Spacing.
• Output is a Tekla model object (or set of objects) that respects our default part names, profiles, classes, and material grades.

Step 2 – Full flagship automation
• Extend the same codebase to generate the complete concrete-form assembly (all four walls, base, supports, joints, reinforcement, connection hardware).
• Keep the same single-screen GUI philosophy so engineers can drive it without training. Future enhancements such as visual previews or designer/project-manager modes can remain open but are not required now.

Technical expectations
• Tekla Open API (2024 or newer) in C# is preferred.
• Written, well-commented code + compiled DLL + simple installer.
• Any third-party libraries must be cleared with me first.
• You must supply your own fully licensed Tekla Structures environment for development and testing.

Acceptance criteria
1. The side-wall generator runs error-free on a clean Tekla model and produces geometry consistent with the entered parameters.
2. The flagship generator repeats that success for the complete form.
3. All created parts react correctly to Tekla editing commands (move, copy, modify) and regenerate after parameter edits.
4. Delivery includes source code, a short user manual, and a recorded demo.
