"Hiring for Mobile App Developer (React Native + Firebase)

About the Role:
We’re hiring a passionate Mobile App Developer Intern to join our product team and help build a scalable, real-time communication experience. You’ll be working closely with a developer based in Nigeria, sharing the workload equally to build both in-app and cross-app call functionalities, Firebase-powered backend features, and a robust push notification system to keep users active and engaged.

What You'll Be Doing:

Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native

Upgrade existing React Native codebase from version 0.16 to the latest stable version

Integrate Firebase for authentication, data sync, cloud functions, and notifications

Migrate backend setup from Firebase to MongoDB and update related services accordingly

Implement in-app and out-of-app call features, ensuring seamless connectivity even when the app is in the background or closed

Ensure active users stay online within the app for real-time interactions and quick response time

Set up and manage push notifications for both call alerts and general user notifications

Work with Agora / [login to view URL] or similar APIs to integrate robust audio/video calling features

Manage and integrate Razorpay APIs for seamless payment workflows for both users and streamers

Update and maintain the admin panel to track key KPIs, user and streamer metrics, call logs, and performance data

Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to ensure smooth product delivery and a great user experience

Work closely with a developer based in Nigeria, sharing the workload equally for efficient project delivery

What We’re Looking For:

Strong proficiency in React Native

Solid experience with Firebase (Firestore, Auth, FCM, Cloud Functions)

Familiarity with real-time communication protocols (e.g., WebRTC, third-party APIs like Agora or Twilio)

Ability to handle push notifications (foreground, background & killed states)

Understanding of app state management to keep users "online" or active

Good problem-solving and debugging skills

Our mission is to bridge real-time interactions between streamers and their followers through a seamless in-app experience.

Stipend: ₹15k/month (if work is done exceptionally, bounties will be rewarded)
