"I’m taking back control of a web application that was built through an external IT firm and now need a technically hands-on partner to own it day-to-day. The immediate priority is a smooth hand-over: reviewing the current codebase, getting the infrastructure under version control, and making sure production, staging, and backups all run reliably.

Where I most need help is on the data side—tight, reliable database management that can also talk to Excel when required—and on bringing in just enough AI to streamline content creation and keep the product feeling fresh.

The platform already leans on multiple integrations: payment gateways, social media hooks, and several third-party data feeds are live or queued for rollout, so confidence in working with RESTful APIs is essential. New connections will appear regularly as we refine the roadmap.

Typical weekly work will include keeping servers healthy, writing and refactoring MySQL queries, extending our web-scraping routines, generating automated reports, and polishing the graphics or copy with AI assistance. If a feature makes the user experience better, I’m ready to brainstorm and ship it quickly.
