"I’m expanding our dwelling-insurance platform and need an experienced developer who can both code and coach. The immediate tasks include:

• Designing and building modular components for policy creation, code management, and high-volume data processing.
• Exposing clean, well-documented RESTful APIs for each module so they plug smoothly into our existing services and any future integrations.
• Crafting efficient database schemas, migrations, and indexing strategies that keep performance solid as records grow.
• Walking me through key decisions, pair-programming on tricky pieces, and leaving clear inline comments and short video or written walk-throughs so my in-house team can maintain the work.

We run a modern stack and can flex between Node.js/Express, Java/Spring, or Python/Django—use what you know best but architect it for scalability and testability. Familiarity with insurance domain logic (endorsements, underwriting rules, compliance codes) will make you stand out.

Deliverables I expect:
1. A working set of backend modules with unit and integration tests.
2. Database scripts and seed data for quick spin-up.
3. Postman (or similar) collection demonstrating the API endpoints.
4. Brief onboarding documentation and two live knowledge-transfer sessions.
