My newsletter signup form is live on my Shopify storefront, the list connection is correct, and the Shopify Email automation for “Welcome to Giddyup Gear” (with a 10% discount code) is already configured — yet no welcome email is being sent after a visitor subscribes.
I need a Shopify expert to identify and repair the break-point so the signup flow performs exactly as intended.

Scope of Work
• Diagnose and fix the issue preventing the welcome email from sending after signup.
• Ensure new subscriber data is captured correctly in the Shopify customer list.
• Verify that the “Welcome to Giddyup Gear” email triggers immediately and displays the 10% discount code exactly as designed.
• Review theme-embedded form code, customer tags, double-opt-in status, and Shopify Email automation triggers for potential conflicts.
• Add or configure a “Thank You for Subscribing” page that appears immediately after signup, confirming double opt-in.
• Make the unsubscribe and update-preferences options more visible and user-friendly on the website (footer or elsewhere as appropriate).
• Run a live test using a fresh email to confirm:
1. Subscription processes correctly
2. Welcome email arrives in the inbox within minutes (not spam)
3. Discount code applies properly at checkout
