"I have a production Node 8 application that speaks to both internal and third-party APIs. It has begun to show its age and a few tabs are now misbehaving, so I’m looking for a complete rewrite of the codebase while we tackle a short list of functional snags.

Current pain points
• Buy tab throws errors that stop new transactions.
• Sell tab often refuses to highlight the selected record.
• Ship tab behaves the same—selection clicks simply do nothing.

Alongside those fixes, I need several small but important upgrades:
• In the Buy tab I want customers created on the spot if they don’t already exist.
• Authorised staff must be able to select any record shown on screen across all tabs (some users will remain view-only).
• A connector to LeadsOnline has to run every time an item is chosen, blocking the sale if a “Do Not Sell” warning comes back.

While I’m open to your preferred stack, the end result has to run on a modern LTS version of Node.js, keep the existing API integrations intact, and ship with clear deployment notes. Automated tests covering the updated Buy, Sell and Ship flows would be ideal so regressions don’t sneak back in.
