"I’ve already installed a fresh copy of WordPress on our hosting account and chosen the free Astra theme. I now need an experienced WordPress designer to turn that blank install into a polished, temple-style site that’s ready for me to populate with content.

What I’d like you to do
• Activate and configure Astra so the overall mood feels religious and serene.
• Apply a neutral colour palette—mainly whites and soft beiges—across backgrounds, sections, and subtle typography accents.
• Build a clean homepage layout with placeholder blocks for About Us and Contact. Any additional sections can remain simple placeholders so I can add text and images later.
• Set up a global header that shows our logo and site title alongside an intuitive navigation menu, plus a matching footer.
• Define consistent typography and basic spacing rules so every new page I create will automatically inherit the same style.

Scope notes
No custom coding, heavy plug-ins, or complex functionality is required at this stage; this is strictly an initial configuration and visual pass. When you’re done, I should be able to log in, add pages, and see everything follow the styling you’ve put in place.
