Project description:
"I need a web-based soccer management system that lets club staff run day-to-day operations from one place.
Core scope
• Player management – add, edit, and archive player profiles with photos and basic stats.
• Match scheduling – create fixtures, assign venues, and send automatic reminders.
• Statistics tracking – capture goals, assists, cards, minutes played, and automatically feed them into reports.
• League table (critical) – update standings in real time from match results, with goal difference and head-to-head rules.
• Match results entry – quick form to submit scores that instantly refreshes the league table and team dashboards.
• Team dashboards – each team logs in to see upcoming fixtures, player availability, and current position.
• Zoning support – ability to group teams into geographic zones or age brackets and filter the schedule, stats, and standings accordingly.
Mid-level deliverables
1. Responsive front-end (React, Vue, or similar) with a clean, minimalist UI.
2. Back-end API (Node.js, Laravel, or Django are fine) with secure authentication and role-based access.
3. MySQL or PostgreSQL schema covering players, matches, stats, and zone data.
4. Initial data import template (CSV/Excel) for bulk player and fixture uploads.
5. Admin guide and brief hand-off call so I can manage the system myself.
I’m open on tech stack as long as performance is solid and documentation is clear. Please outline your approach, timeframe, and any similar work you’ve shipped." (client-provided description)
