Project description:
"I need a simple, professional CODESYS software package.
Requirements:
- 4 Digital Inputs
- 5-6 Digital Outputs
- Logical Operations (AND, OR) between inputs and outputs
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in CODESYS
- Experience with digital inputs/outputs
- Strong understanding of logical operations
- Software development for professional, clean interfaces
Details of what I need:
First step is; when the two machines come together, an input from a proximity sensor confirming that the two machines are connected has to be received before an output is sent to 2
motors that close safety locking pins. Once a sensor at these 2 safety locking pins sends a input to confirm that these 2 safety locking pins are in their closed position, only then can the operator can choose to send outputs to use 2 further functions. The use of these further two functions are optional for the operator.
But if he chooses to either these 2 further functions, I want inputs from sensors on these two optional functions to confirm to the PLC that he has implemented one or both of these two functions, and I want this to be visible on the HMI screen.
If he chooses to use any of these two functions, the safety locking pins cannot be opened until he stops using both of these functions.
While he is using one or both of these two functions, the PLC will be aware that one or both of these functions are in use because the inputs from these functions will tell the PLC that these functions are in use. I want the PLC to refuse to open the safety locking pins whilst either of these two functions are in use.
When he stops using any of these two functions, inputs from other proximity sensors will confirm that these optional functions are no longer in use and are in their retracted position. Only once inputs from proximity sensors confirm to the PLC that both of these two optional functions are in their retracted position can the operator then open the safety locking pin to disconnect the machines."
