Project description:
"I need a small-to-mid scale web application built in Blazor (server-side or WebAssembly, whichever you feel best suits the task) on top of .NET 6/7, backed by Microsoft SQL Server. The core feature is a robust user-management module that lets me create, edit and deactivate accounts, assign passwords, and switch roles between Admin and Editor.
The system must talk directly to an existing SQL Server database—no API layer in between—so you’ll set up a clean, secure connection string and map the current tables with Entity Framework (or another ORM you prefer). The existing schema already stores user credentials and profile data; your job is to wire the Blazor front end to those tables, respect all current field names, and avoid breaking any legacy queries.
Key expectations
• Blazor pages for login, profile editing, role assignment and a dashboard placeholder
• Role-based authorization so Admins see everything while Editors get restricted views
• Seamless direct database connection with clear documentation of any new objects you add (e.g., views or stored procedures)
• Full source code, a simple readme for local build, and a quick walkthrough on deploying to IIS or Azure App Service
I’ll provide a database diagram and sample data as soon as we start. If this sounds clear and you have recent Blazor + SQL Server projects you can point to, I’d love to see them and get moving right away." (client-provided description)
