"My WordPress site on GoDaddy is still running PHP 7.3 and GoDaddy has flagged it as insecure. I only need the PHP version upgraded to the latest stable release that GoDaddy offers—no theme or plugin updates are required at this time.

Because I’m not sure whether a recent backup exists, please check first and create a full backup of the files and database if one isn’t in place. I’m also unsure whether a staging site is worth setting up for such a straightforward change, so I’d appreciate your brief recommendation on that before we proceed; if you feel it’s safer, I’m open to using a temporary staging environment.
