Project description:
"We are developing a mobile and desktop strategy game based on the Triple Bottom Line principles — Ecology, Social, and Regional Economy.
The game is designed to raise awareness for regenerative systems, inspired by permaculture, syntropic agriculture, and territorial resilience.
The world evolves dynamically, similar to a real-time strategy game like Risk, but instead of conquest, players regenerate territories.
Players act as characters (e.g. a politician, farmer, scientist, entrepreneur) and respond to real-world-inspired challenges such as droughts, inheritance, or social unrest.
They can invest in regenerative “assets” such as Syntropic Systems, AgriMetrix, RegioWert AG, or Biochar Production.
The project already includes:
Full gameplay logic in C# (core systems, balancing, scoring, 3BL engine)
Data model for Characters, Events, and Assets (ScriptableObjects)
Procedural Diorama builder and stylized URP shaders
Influence matrix linking all entities
Clear design direction (low-poly, isometric, calm, educational aesthetic)
Now we need an experienced Unity developer to assemble everything into a working prototype.
Scope of Work
Set up the Unity 6.2 URP project
Implement provided scripts, folder structure, and prefabs.
Configure scene lighting, URP, and post-processing.
Integrate content
Use our generator script to create ~10 characters, 10 events, and 10 assets.
Ensure the InfluenceDatabase works in runtime.
Implement basic UI
Character selection screen
In-game HUD (3BL scores, RegioCoin balance, region info)
Buttons to trigger events and acquire assets
Camera and navigation
Isometric camera (Cinemachine) with smooth zoom between 6 levels: Person → Family → Region → Country → Continent → World.
Testing and polishing
Connect data to visuals (spawn assets into Diorama).
Ensure logic runs at runtime (not only Editor).
Optimize for mobile (Android & iOS).
Optional (if skills/time allow):
Basic save/load system
JSON export for gameplay metrics (AgriMetrix integration)
Minimal intro/tutorial flow

Ideal Candidate
Senior Unity Developer with experience in simulation, RTS, or educational games.
Understands systemic design, sustainability, or impact logic (3BL, permaculture, etc.).
Comfortable working from partial prototype and written concept, not just mockups.
Fluent English (German is a plus, but not required).
Collaborative mindset and ability to work independently.
