"I need a quick proof-of-concept that lets me explore eBay listings and get notified before they close. The front end can be a single, clean HTML page styled with vanilla CSS or a lightweight framework—nothing elaborate yet. From that page I want to enter a few search parameters (think keyword, category, and price range, number of bids, condition etc). Ability to see the results of any items ending in next hour that meet your criteria. Limited by number of allowed products.


Behind the scenes a small service/job, should run every hour. Each run calls the eBay API, pulls items scheduled to end within the next hour that match the criteria I saved on the page, and fires off an email that contains direct links to those listings. Plain links are fine; no fancy formatting required right now.

Simple java script/HTML, CSS if possible, with way to save criteria, keep as simple as possible for poc, but functional.
The project will require an eBay api developer account setup and usage of SMTP server or some free emailing ability and need the app hosted somewhere that I can log into.
