"We are developing a tracking platform covering Sweden, Norway, and Finland, and need an experienced MapLibre developer to help us integrate and unify map layers from Lantmäteriet (SE), Kartverket (NO), and Maanmittauslaitos/NLS (FI).

The goal is to create a single, coherent basemap with vector topography, hillshade, and orthophoto layers, all styled consistently across borders. The work involves:
• Configuring and styling MapLibre GL JSON (vector and raster sources)
• Proxying and normalizing WMTS or XYZ tile endpoints
• Unifying visual styles for colors, typography, and labels across providers
• Integrating hillshade and DEM layers for terrain rendering
• Implementing toggles for orthophoto, hillshade, and topography in web and mobile clients

Experience with GeoServer or TileServer GL, EPSG:3857 tiling schemes, and offline map packaging (MBTiles or PMTiles) is highly valued.

Deliverables include a functional style JSON and a test demo in MapLibre (web preferred) that displays the unified Nordic basemap ready for production use in our tracking app." (client-provided description)
