Project description:
"Must be able to start NOW!
My WordPress ordering site is almost there—products are loaded, Square API is connected, and the QR . I now need a freelancer to bring it across the finish line.
I will create the QR codes myself, based on the links you tell me to use for the table numbers.
Core functionality
• Pass the table-ID that comes from each QR code all the way through the session so the kitchen dashboard always knows where the order originated.
Example - if link is, domain/index.php=T1 then that knows its table one and shows on the site for that, also shows on the checkout and comes through with the order so we know.
• Allow certain table numbers to browse only (no Buy button) while others can add items to cart and check out normally.
Example - Have a [login to view URL] file on server where its Can buy = T1, T2, T3, T8, T9 Menu only T4, T5, T6. So i can edit to my liking.
* Location control, have so the user must be within a certain gps lat long location radious,. Again have a [login to view URL] where i put in my latitude = longtitude = radius = (in meters)
If user is not in the radius it just shows, sorry you must be at the location to see.
Design tidy-up
The overall design elements still feel rough. Please refine the headers and footers, polish the product display sections, and make sure the cart / checkout screens look cohesive with the rest of the theme—nothing fancy, just clean, mobile-first, and on-brand.
Technical context
WordPress + WooCommerce are in place, Square handles payments, and I already have test products and categories set up. You’ll be working in a staging environment with full admin access.
Deliverables
1. Fully functioning table-ID logic tested on at least three sample QR codes
2. Conditional Buy button behaviour tied to table numbers
3. Updated header, footer, product and checkout styling that matches the existing color palette and typography
4. Final QA pass on desktop and mobile, then migration to live site
If you’ve built QR-driven WooCommerce menus before or have strong PHP / JS chops, this should be straightforward. Looking forward to your expertise and a quick turnaround." (client-provided description)
