"I need a developer to dive into the Stripe and Paystack flows in my app, track down why the total amount sometimes goes wrong, and patch the underlying logic as well as the small UI elements tied to it.

What I’m seeing
• Only the total figure becomes inaccurate; subtotals and taxes look fine.
• It happens sporadically—no clear product, user, or currency pattern.
• Both processors are already integrated, so the problem is likely in our own calculation layer or the way we pass values to their SDKs / APIs.

Scope of work
1. Reproduce the issue in a controlled environment and explain the trigger.
2. Audit the amount-calculation code, rounding rules, currency conversions, and any discounts.
3. Patch the logic, update the Stripe and Paystack calls, and adjust any related screen labels or error messages so totals are always correct.
4. Run end-to-end tests (unit and live sandbox) for both gateways and produce a short test report.
5. Hand over the updated code, tests, and a brief change log so I can review and merge.

Acceptance criteria
• Every checkout variant (one-off, subscription, coupon, different currencies) returns identical totals between UI and the processor dashboard.
• No regression in existing payment paths.
• Clean, well-commented code that compiles without new warnings.

The app stack is React Native with a Node/Express back end; Stripe and Paystack are on their latest SDK/API versions. You’ll have repo access and sandbox keys as soon as we start." (client-provided description)
