"I have already uploaded a short animated video of my logo to Vimeo and now need it displayed cleanly on the front page of my Squarespace site. The video needs to be centred and sized properly (it's a wide and short video) and while it loads I want the custom thumbnail I’ve prepared to sit right over the player so visitors aren’t staring at a blank frame.

You’re free to use the native Squarespace embed block, and I've also enabled code injections if needed —whatever achieves the smoothest result without slowing the page. The only requirements are:
• My Vimeo link renders correctly on desktop and mobile.
• The thumbnail appears instantly, disappears on play, and doesn’t re-flash when the video ends or loops.

If you have suggestions for making it load quicker (it's 1.8mb) and 1400px wide currently.
