"I have a small in-house web app that was written for PHP 4.x. It includes an index page with login, a [login to view URL] file, and a handful of utility scripts that run reports or fire off background queries. After moving the server to modern PHP/Apache the code naturally broke, so I need each page and script brought forward to PHP 8.2 without losing existing behaviour.

The first priority is the login and authentication flow; once that works we can move on to the reporting and background-query pieces. You must be comfortable reading very old procedural PHP, identifying deprecated functions, replacing them with current equivalents, and tightening up any loose security while you’re in there.

We will connect through AnyDesk and work together in real time—I’ll provide access to the codebase, the current server environment, and test credentials. I’ll stay online during sessions to answer questions and validate fixes as they’re made, so strong communication is essential.

Deliverable:
• Updated, fully functional PHP 8.2 code for the login/authentication sequence, plus updated supporting scripts, committed and tested on my live server.
