"I need a straightforward cryptocurrency converter that lets a user enter an amount, choose two coins, and instantly see the converted value. Nothing fancy—just a clean interface backed by live price data from a reliable API such as CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, or a service you recommend.

Stack and platform are open; a lightweight web page in vanilla JavaScript works, but React, Vue, Flutter, or an Electron shell are also fine. Start with a small list of popular coins and structure the code so I can add or remove tokens later without touching the core logic.
