"I need a complete on-chain/off-chain set-up for a USD-pegged, fiat-collateralized stablecoin. On the Solidity side, I want an ERC-20 contract that keeps things simple: mint and burn functions gated to a custodian role, pause/unpause capability, and the usual events for transparency.

Alongside the contract, I also need a lightweight Node.js back-end written with Ethers.js. Its job is to expose authenticated endpoints that let our internal treasury desk call “mint” when fresh dollars arrive and “redeem” when users cash out. A small SQLite or JSON store is fine for queuing and logging transactions; no heavy database work is required.

Deliverables
• Auditable Solidity contract (flattened and well-commented)
• Hardhat project with unit tests covering mint/burn, role management, and pausable logic
• Node.js + [login to view URL] service with REST endpoints: /mint, /redeem, /status
• Basic README showing how to deploy the contract, set environment variables, and spin up the service locally
