"I am building a SaaS platform that automatically shops the best shipping and freight rates in real time, much like Freightcom, FlagShip or ShipStation. The core of the project is a service that pulls live prices and service details from the APIs of FedEx, DHL, UPS, Purolator and GLS (with the flexibility to bolt on additional carriers later).

Key functions I need from day one are:
• Automatic rate comparison—given an origin, destination, parcel specs and service preferences the system should instantly return the cheapest or fastest option.
• Real-time tracking—after the shipment is booked, status updates must flow back through the same integration and surface inside the app without manual refreshes.
• Shipping-label generation—once a service is selected, the carrier-compliant label, manifest and tracking number should be produced in seconds.

The interface must be a clean, responsive web app delivered as a true SaaS product, so multi-tenant architecture, user authentication and role management are expected. Please outline any prior projects where you have:
• Integrated multiple carrier REST or SOAP APIs, handled rate-limit management and token renewal.
• Normalised differing rate, service-code and tracking schemas into a single data model.
• Built label rendering or PDF generation modules that pass carrier certification.

Deliverables I will review for acceptance:
1. Source code (preferably in a modern framework such as Node.js/TypeScript, Python/Django or similar) with clear documentation.
2. Live staging environment demonstrating rate shopping, label generation and tracking for at least the five carriers listed above.
3. Postman (or equivalent) collection showing all endpoints with example requests and responses.
4. Brief hand-off guide covering environment variables, deployment steps and carrier setup.
