"I already move comfortably around Ignition’s Designer but want to push past the intermediate plateau, so I’m looking for a mentor who can meet with me live and guide me through the tougher corners of the platform. Our sessions will be strictly one-on-one, delivered online through screen-sharing (Zoom, Teams or similar), and paced around my real-world projects so everything we cover is immediately applicable.

The three areas I need to master are
• Scripting & automation (Perspective and Vision, Jython, tag event scripts, gateway timers)
• Database integration (SQL queries, named queries, store & forward, best-practice schema design)
• Alarms & notifications (pipeline logic, ancillary scripting, on-call rosters)

I’ll come prepared with an Ignition 8 gateway, sample PLC tags and a test database; you bring the practical experience and a clear lesson structure. By the end of our collaboration I should be able to write clean reusable scripts, build a robust SQL-backed historian, and deploy a fully-featured alarm strategy without outside help.

Deliverables
1. A tailored session roadmap with objectives and homework.
2. Live screen-share tutoring—minimum 60 minutes per session—recording allowed for my later review.
3. Short written recaps after each meeting highlighting code snippets, gateway settings and next steps.
4. Final knowledge check: I demonstrate a working mini-project that satisfies the three focus areas above.
