"I’m looking to have a truly tailored, web-based CRM built for a small trading operation that tops out at roughly twenty concurrent users. The goal is to keep workflows tight, screens uncluttered, and performance snappy while giving us everything we need to see the full client-to-trade lifecycle in one place.

Core workflow
Right now we juggle spreadsheets and manual notes. I want all client profiles, executed trades, and incoming leads to live in a single database so I can pull concise, on-demand reports without extra steps. A clean, minimalist interface is key—no flashy widgets, just information presented clearly so a desk or mobile browser can display it without distraction.

Scope of functionality (must-haves)
• Client management: searchable profiles, KYC docs, notes, status tags
• Trade tracking: open positions, closed trades, P&L snapshots, timestamped audit trail
• Lead management: intake form, status pipeline, conversion metrics
• Report generation: CSV/PDF exports filtered by date, symbol, or rep
• User access control: tiered roles (admin, trader, sales) with granular permissions

Technical expectations
• Modern web stack of your choice—Laravel, Django, Node, or equivalent—so long as it’s secure and easy to maintain.
• Responsive frontend (React, Vue, or vanilla HTML/CSS if it keeps the UI lightweight).
• REST or GraphQL API endpoints documented for future integrations (payment gateway or back-office tools down the road).
• Structured database schema with migrations and seed data for testing.
• Source code in Git with clear setup instructions so my in-house IT can deploy or extend it later.

Acceptance criteria
1. All functions above work smoothly for 20 simultaneous users without time-out or noticeable lag.
2. Role-based access prevents unauthorized views or edits.
3. Reports generate correctly in under five seconds for a 12-month data set.
4. Clean, minimal UI consistent across Chrome, Edge, and Safari (desktop and tablet).
5. Handover includes README, installation script, and a short Loom or similar walkthrough.
