"I have a Shopify store whose Collection Page feels sluggish, and every analysis points to our own JavaScript as the main culprit. The goal is simple: improve page-load speed so customers land on a Collection Page that renders instantly and scrolls smoothly.

Here is where things stand:
• We already added several custom scripts for filters and small UI flourishes.
• Those scripts now block rendering, inflate the bundle, and clash with Shopify’s native code.
• Core Web Vitals for the Collection Page are in the red, even though images, media, and apps are well-optimized.

What I need from you:
1. Audit the current JavaScript (inline, theme files, and any script tags injected through Liquid) and map out what can be trimmed, lazy-loaded, or split.
2. Refactor, minify, or rewrite where necessary so the Collection Page passes Lighthouse and PageSpeed Insights with green scores.
3. Keep all existing functionality intact—product filtering, quick-view, and any event tracking must continue to work.
4. Share concise documentation of the changes so future theme updates remain straightforward.
