Project description:
"I’m rebuilding the digital home of my neighborhood coffee shop so customers can browse, drool over the drinks, and—most importantly—place orders without hesitation. The single-page (or light multi-page) site must put ordering front and center while capturing the cozy, artisanal vibe of the café.
Primary goal
Increase online orders. Every design and UX choice should guide visitors from the first photo of a latte straight to “Order Now.”
Core features to include
• Dynamic menu display that I can update myself whenever flavors change.
• A section for genuine customer reviews to build trust and spark curiosity.
• Simple, engaging loyalty program integration—think digital punch card or points tracker visitors can see at checkout.
• Solid SEO foundations and consistent branding so we surface on local searches for coffee, pastries, and remote-work spots.
Payment flow
I haven’t locked in an online payment solution yet, so I’m open to your recommendation. Stripe? Square? A cart that hands off to in-store pickup? Pitch what fits best for a small brick-and-mortar café.
Look & feel
Warm palettes, high-quality imagery, and subtle animations that load fast on mobile. Responsive design is non-negotiable—half my customers order from phones while commuting.
Deliverables
1. Fully functional web page (HTML/CSS/JS or a lightweight CMS like WordPress—convince me which).
2. Admin access and clear, step-by-step instructions for updating menu items and promotions.
3. Basic analytics setup so I can track conversions and tweak campaigns.
Acceptance criteria
• Ordering flow tested on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
• SEO audit shows clean metadata, alt tags, and page speed in the green.
• Loyalty feature works end-to-end (sign-up, points accrual, redemption).
• Branding aligns with current logo, colors, and in-store signage.
If this sounds like your cup of coffee, tell me how you’d structure the build, which tech stack you’d choose, and the timeline you’d need to see the first espresso shot of a prototype." (client-provided description)
