"I need an experienced Android Systems / HAL engineer to modify the vendor partition for a OnePlus 7 (codename guacamoleb) running crDroidAndroid-15.0-20250719-v11.7.

Goal

Make the phone treat a UVC external camera as the only available camera, replacing all internal sensors.

Required Work

• Modify camera HAL config and vendor overlays (NO full ROM build required).
• Expose exactly two logical camera IDs:
 • 0 = rear
 • 1 = front
• Both IDs must map to the same external UVC device.
• Completely suppress / hide all internal cameras so that:
 • dumpsys [login to view URL]
 • Camera2 API
 • CameraX
 → report ONLY IDs 0 and 1 from the external camera.
• Make the UVC feed the default camera for all apps (video, streaming, Zoom, Instagram, etc.).
• Ensure compatibility specifically with:
 crDroidAndroid-15.0-20250719-guacamoleb-v11.7

Deliverable

• Flash-ready [login to view URL] OR flashable ZIP (sideload).
• Mini-changelog + list of modified overlay/config files for future reproducibility.

Acceptance Criteria

Payment will be released ONLY after confirming:

adb shell dumpsys [login to view URL] → shows only IDs 0 and 1, both mapped to UVC.

No physical/internal camera appears anywhere (UI or logs).

Stock Camera, Zoom, Instagram, etc. open the external camera automatically for video.
