"I’m assembling a tool that will take my raw drawings for a G + 2 building and instantly return a fully automated itemized cost schedule—materials and labour side by side—so I can make decisions without shuffling through endless spreadsheets. The end result must be precise enough to hand straight to a contractor and a banker: every nail, bag of cement, switch, length of conduit, coat of paint, and the hours to install them all clearly priced.

Scope
• Itemised breakdown: I need the calculation to drill right down to SKU or equivalent line items, covering construction, finishing, and electrical materials.
• Labour integration: Each material line should carry its matching labour rate so the final sheet shows both subtotals and a grand total automatically.
• G + 2 logic: Floor-wise quantities must respect typical load-bearing walls, slab thickness variations, and staircase repeats so I don’t have to adjust the numbers manually when I change a dimension.
• Update-ready: Quantities or unit rates should be editable in one place and cascade through the entire schedule.

Flexibility on platform
I’m open on how you build it—custom app, plug-in, or an advanced spreadsheet—as long as I receive an unlocked, editable file (source code or workbook) with clear documentation so my team can maintain the rate tables later.

Deliverables
1. Working cost-calculation tool pre-loaded with example data for a standard G + 2 layout.
2. User guide (PDF or markdown) explaining how to import drawings or manually feed dimensions, where to adjust prices, and how totals are derived.
3. Brief validation run: share the output for one sample plan so I can cross-check a few line items before final hand-off.

Acceptance
I’ll clear the milestone once the sample plan produces a full, error-free itemised sheet and I can tweak a unit rate, hit recalc, and see every dependent total update automatically.
