"I’m almost ready to launch my art website—the design and content are finished—but I still need a small module that lets visitors turn their own colour photos into striking black-and-white images.

What has to happen
• A user clicks a single “Upload your photo” button (direct file upload, no social or cloud imports).
• The file is converted immediately to grayscale on the server or in the browser—whichever fits best with my current stack.
• No extra editing tools are required; the sole function is colour-to-monochrome conversion.
• The processed image appears on the page for instant download or share, and performance should feel snappy on both desktop and mobile.

Everything else on the site is live, so your code must slot cleanly into the existing structure and match the current styling. Please document any third-party libraries you use—ImageMagick, Pillow, Canvas, OpenCV, etc.—so I can maintain the feature later.
