"Our team is kicking off a healthcare software development initiative and we’re still in the Planning & Requirements-Gathering phase. I need a project manager who speaks both clinical language and software-engineering jargon, can navigate HIPAA-driven compliance conversations with ease, and is comfortable turning high-level goals into an actionable delivery roadmap.

You’ll be facilitating discovery workshops with clinicians, IT, and executive stakeholders, translating everything you learn into a clear scope, timeline, and risk picture. I’m expecting a lean, Agile-friendly approach rather than heavy waterfall, but I’m open to a hybrid model if you can justify it.

Key deliverables (all digital hand-off, no paper required):
• Project charter and scope statement, signed off by stakeholders
• Prioritised requirements backlog ready for import into Jira or Azure DevOps
• High-level release roadmap with milestones, dependencies, and resource estimates
• Risk register and mitigation plan with probability/impact scoring
• Communication/RACI matrix so everyone knows who needs to approve what

Acceptance criteria: each deliverable must be reviewed with the core project team and receive written approval in Confluence; backlog items must be detailed enough for estimation by engineering leads.
