"Description:
We are acquiring an established Atlassian Marketplace vendor with successful Jira apps (Data Center + Cloud). We are now looking for a senior freelance developer who can take over the technical ownership, maintenance, and further development of these apps and also support the creation of new Atlassian apps in the project management and workflow automation space.

This is a long-term project with the option to become a permanent technical partner for a growing Atlassian app portfolio.

Your Responsibilities
Take over the technical maintenance of three existing Jira apps (P2/Data Center, Connect, Forge)
Fix bugs, improve performance, maintain compatibility with Atlassian updates
Plan and implement new features based on customer feedback
Prepare and support the upcoming Forge migration (2025/2026)
Set up a clean development pipeline (CI/CD, testing basics, releases)

Support the development of new apps (e.g. project management, Gantt, approvals, Kanban utilities, dashboards, dependency mapping etc.)

Requirements
Strong experience building Jira or Confluence apps (Marketplace experience highly preferred)
Deep knowledge of:
P2 / Data Center development
Atlassian Connect
Forge platform
Understanding of Atlassian Marketplace requirements
Clean, maintainable coding style
Ability to work independently and reliably
Good communication skills (English or German)
