"I am former athlete with an Olympic themed MVP-stage health and fitness app built in Swift with HealthKit and OpenAI under the hood and current developer was called back into corporate job, and this has opportunity to stay on as technical co-founder with equity:)


I am seeking an experienced iOS swift developer front/back end and with experience integrating OpenAI (we already started) to take over. Vibe coding a plus for speed. All UX and UI designs will be provided on Figma. I can work closely with you and provide all needed assets, solutions, etc.

Fluent English and strong organization required for short daily stand-ups, weekly reviews, etc.

First task will be a 6 week sprint paid hourly with an on-time completion bonus. Then continuing after if we both feel a good fit, with opportunity to stay on as technical co-founder with equity:)

The foundation is solid, but the current build is missing three key capabilities to get the MVP out to first user groups to test by Jan 1st 2026:

• New features around meal calculations, workout plan creation, sleep tips, etc.
• Deeper ChatGPT integration that taps my existing OpenAI account, allowing instant workout tweaks, and meal-plan suggestions directly in the app using user data, formulas, and specific prompting
• Other health and fitness features.

All UI components follow Apple Human Interface Guidelines, so the new modules need to slot in cleanly without upsetting the established look and feel. The app is entirely native; no React Native or Flutter layers involved.

Deliverables
– A Swift code update that adds the features above, fully functional on iOS 16+.
– Any necessary schema changes to Core Data or alternate persistence you recommend.
– Updated storyboard/SwiftUI views matching current design language.
_ Back end code update as well as needed for new features. HIPPA compliant a plus.
– Brief technical notes and setup instructions so my in-house team can keep maintaining the project.

Acceptance
I’ll consider the job complete when I can install TestFlight, complete updated onboarding, create a weekly training schedule, log a day’s meals, and hold a back-and-forth ChatGPT conversation without crashes or data loss.
