"After cleaning out a malware infection and rolling the site back to the April 2025 backup, everything works—except the front page (and lost content). The root URL now just hangs, so the traffic is being temporarily redirected. I need that fixed first: identify why the home page will not load and get it rendering normally again.

Once the front page is back, I want to showcase my Ecwid store more effectively by featuring category images directly on the home page. The goal is a clean, visually driven layout that encourages shoppers to dive straight into the relevant collections.

The site also has to feel snappier. I have the free Cloudflare plan active, but caching, minification, image optimisation or any other best-practice tweaks have not been tuned since the restore. Please tighten that up so page loads are clearly faster.

Finally, security needs another pass: confirm that no malicious code remains, update core software and plugins if applicable, lock down obvious entry points and make sure Cloudflare’s settings are taking full advantage of its WAF and bot-shield features.
