Project description:
"I need a clean, well-commented Tampermonkey userscript that runs on Ticketmaster, cycles through a list of promo codes that I will load from a local file, and quietly records the outcome of each attempt for later review.
Core flow
• On page load, read an external file (TXT, CSV, or JSON—whichever is simplest to parse) that contains one coupon code per line or entry.
• Insert each code into Ticketmaster’s promo field, trigger the site’s own “apply” action, then wait for Ticketmaster’s response.
• Record for every code: the code itself, success/failure flag, and any savings or error message returned. Write these results to a second file or a downloadable blob so I can pull it later; logging to the browser console as a fallback is fine.
• No need to auto-choose or re-apply the “best” coupon—just log the results.
I’d like the script structured so that swapping in a different selector file later (for Amazon, eBay, etc.) would be straightforward, but today’s acceptance is Ticketmaster only.
Deliverables
• The Tampermonkey .[login to view URL] file ready to install
• A sample coupon-list file and the final output/log format
• A concise setup & usage note (where to place the list file, how to export the log)
Acceptance criteria
1. I can point the script to a coupon list, reload the event checkout page, and watch codes iterate automatically.
2. A log file is generated that matches the fields above.
3. All core logic is contained client-side; no external servers or APIs are required.
Keep the code lightweight vanilla JS; feel free to use async/await for clarity." (client-provided description)
