Project description:
"Design a Realistic Father-Daughter House in Unity – Chapter 0 Environment for Narrative Game (Lunoris)

NOO AI!!!!!

Overview
I am developing a narrative fantasy game called Lunoris, built in Unity. This contest is for creating the full real-world environment featured in Chapter 0 — a cinematic, emotional space representing a daughter's life in the home she once shared with her late father.

The house should feel realistic and emotionally grounded, filled with subtle signs that Lunara (the main character) hasn’t fully moved on after her father's passing. The lighting, object placement, and layout should all reflect this sense of loss and quiet.

This is the first major environment in the game and will later serve as the base for a Dream Hub — a surreal dream version of the same space. However, this contest focuses only on the real-world version.

Deliverables
1. Fully Modeled, Story-Driven House Interior
You will design a complete interior that includes:

Lunara’s bedroom (reference image will be provided)

Living room

Kitchen

Hallway or entry space

Bathroom

Optional: Study, storage room, or closed-off father’s room

The layout should feel cohesive and believable, as if it was truly lived in by a teenage daughter and her now-deceased father.

2. Lunara’s Bedroom (Emotional Focus)
This room is the emotional core of Chapter 0 and must include:

A newly added balcony (replacing an existing window)

The moon, visible from the balcony

Moonlight rays casting softly into the room

Required real-world objects in the bedroom:

Violin (on a stand or resting naturally)

Framed photo of Lunara and her father

Empty sugar glider cage

Forest globe toy (e.g., a snow globe)

The balcony itself, fully modeled and positioned

The atmosphere should feel late at night — quiet, still, and slightly melancholic. Lighting should be moody and cinematic, not overly bright.

3. Environmental Storytelling (Father’s Presence)
Throughout the house, include subtle environmental clues that the father recently passed away:

Shoes still by the door

A mug left on a counter

A coat still hanging

An optional locked door to his study

Books, music, or personal belongings left untouched

These details should help communicate grief through the environment alone, without any dialogue.

Narrative Context
Later in the game, this same house will become a Dream Hub where elements like floating objects and dream portals appear. That version will be built later.

For now, you are building the grounded, pre-sleep real-world version. Please keep the layout clean and modular so it can be duplicated or adapted later.

Technical Requirements
Engine: Unity (Built-In Render Pipeline preferred)

You may use free or paid assets from the Unity Asset Store

If using paid assets, please list them with prices

I will approve or decline based on my budget

You may also combine assets I will provide (to be uploaded upon contest launch)

Keep object naming and scene hierarchy clean for future re-use

What to Submit (Initial Round)
Unity scene file or Unity package

Or a walkthrough video showing the full environment

Screenshots of key areas

Focus on emotional tone, layout, lighting, and object placement

Selection Process
This contest will use Freelancer’s Top Contestants Upgrade. I will shortlist the top entries and invite them to submit a more polished version with direct feedback. The winner may be offered follow-up work to build the Dream Hub or future chapters.
