"My Ionic mobile app does its job, but the experience feels rough around the edges and performance lags are starting to show. I want to give users a smoother, more engaging journey while cutting down every millisecond of wasted load time.

UI/UX

• Enhanced navigation – menus, tab flow, and back-stack behavior need to feel instinctive rather than forced.
• Updated visual design – the look should feel fresh and modern, yet still light-weight enough to keep the bundle slim.
• Better accessibility – colour contrast, scalable text, and screen-reader support all have to pass standard WCAG checks.
I do not yet have formal brand guidelines, so part of the work is helping me shape a small, reusable design system (colours, typography, component variants) that slots neatly into Ionic’s theming.

Deliverables
1. Refactored Ionic code with performance tweaks merged and tested on Web, Android & iOS
2. Brief style guide (colours, fonts, component rules) for future updates. The apps font / color should be changeable from the config file without touching the code.
