"About the Role

We’re looking for a WordPress developer who understands how to build education-focused LMS websites, similar in scope to platforms like Coursera (course catalog, student dashboards, monetization). You should know how to plan, build, and optimize a full LMS workflow end-to-end.

Responsibilities
• Build and customise LMS platforms using WordPress.
• Create full course workflows: courses, lessons, quizzes, assignments, certificates.
• Integrate payments, membership/subscription models, and student dashboards.
• Ensure theme + plugin compatibility without conflicts.
• Develop clean, responsive UI/UX for students and instructors.
• Optimise site performance, speed, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot issues quickly and handle updates proactively.

Requirements
• 3+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
• Proven portfolio of education / LMS websites.
• Ability to customise themes & plugins beyond basic configuration.
• Familiarity with Elementor or similar page-builders (preferred).
• Strong debugging and independent working skills.
• Experience with WooCommerce/membership systems is a plus.
• Experience with integrating live classes (Zoom/Meet) is a plus.

Nice to Have
• UI/UX design awareness for better student experience.
• Understanding of hosting, caching, and performance optimisation.
