"I’m building a secure web and mobile application where separated parents and children can finally find one another. The flow is simple: each side creates a post explaining how they got lost, uploads photos, enters personal and contact details, and keeps the story updated through a status section. Every profile is searchable through a straightforward keyword bar so users can home-in on dates, places, or distinctive memories. Under each post sits an open comment thread that becomes the real-time space for questions, leads, and emotional support.

Once two people believe they have found a match, the system should let them flag the connection, exchange private contact information, and record the result of an external DNA test so that a “Verified Parent–Child” badge appears on both profiles.
