"I already have a working TDL code-base. I need a developer who can work on both a very old release of Tally ERP as wel as on latest version of Tally Prime. Your job is to extend that code as per my requirement without breaking version compatibility.

Voucher screen work
• Add extra field types—custom text, custom date, and custom dropdown—so that they sit naturally alongside Tally’s native columns.
• Build mandatory-field, format, and range validations that fire instantly, not after saving, with clear user prompts.
• Give the screen a cleaner flow: tab order, colour cues for errors, and condensed footer totals.

Report work
Revamp the existing financial, inventory, and sales reports so they pull the new field data, respect my current layouts, and export cleanly to Excel/PDF.

Acceptance criteria
1. Source code compiles and runs on both target versions.
2. Voucher entry passes all validation scenarios I supply.
3. Reports reflect new fields and balance totals exactly.
4. No impact on existing ledgers or third-party add-ons.
