"Project: “Parking Street-Cleaning Alert Service for Stockholm”

Goal
Build a simple web-based MVP that warns users before street-cleaning (“servicedagar”) in Stockholm.
A user parks, confirms location, and receives alerts the day before and one hour before cleaning begins.

Core features (MVP)
Frontend

Simple mobile-friendly web page.

Button: “I parked here”.

Browser geolocation to get user’s lat/lng.

Show detected street and next cleaning time.

Input field: email or phone number to receive alerts.

Confirmation screen.

Backend

API endpoint to receive:

lat/lng

user identifier (email/phone)

Call Stockholm’s official “servicedagar” API
(servicedagar/within with my API key)

Parse result and find nearest street-cleaning rule

Calculate next cleaning date/time

Store user + cleaning schedule in database

Schedule two notifications:

1 hour before
5 minutes before

Notifications

Email (SendGrid/Mailgun) or SMS (Twilio)

Background job/cron checking pending reminders every few minutes
